NineBlue About Us
1. What is NineBlue?
NineBlue is a website dedicated to satisfying the information needs of traveling
parents around the world. Our site developed from a simple idea: to compile and
offer users the most comprehensive listing of fun things for families to do in the
world and we're certainly on our way. As of April 2008, NineBlue offers over 100
family travel guide
eBooks and provides family specific information for destinations world
wide. Our customers are as diverse as our offerings--thousands of parents from over 50 countries
have purchased NineBlue family travel eBooks.
2. What is an eBook
An eBook (electronic book) is essentially an electronic version of a book and since
it can be distributed online it is available immediately to customers upon ordering.
We like to think that it's the best of all worlds as it's quickly delivered to customers,
in electronic form so it's environmentally friendly (no killing trees here at NineBlue)
and cheaper--no shipping costs.
3. Is the content on your website contained within your eBooks?
Most of the material on the website is taken from our eBooks but modified slightly
for web use.
4. How do you compile the content on your site and eBooks?
Years ago, we wrote our own content but now have a diverse bunch of parents through
out the world (from the North America to Africa, they're everywhere) helping us
with both research and writing.
5. How can my business be listed on your site and eBook?
We'd love to hear about your family friendly business where ever in the world it
may be.
Please Contact us.
6. How can I write for you?
We're always looking for new parents to help us out.
Please Contact us
with details on
where/how you can help us.
7. Where is NineBlue located?
NineBlue is headquartered in Las Vegas and a couple of us actually
live and remain in the city. We also maintain an office in west London (Surrey). Our Founder, Edward Serrano, while a resident of Las
Vegas, can most likely be found on the road, though he's still online and working
where ever he may be.

Edward is currently in: London, England |
A life long nomad, Edward spent most
of his childhood moving from country to country due to his father's hotel
business career. "I remember that there were two things that I wanted more than
anything when I'd arrive in a strange city. The first was a box of toys and second
was something fun to do--go to a zoo, funky park or see something completely different."
Edward spent most of 2007 hopping between Bangkok and London (Surrey). "My favorite place? That's an almost impossible question but
I can say that few cities in the world have the excitement of Bangkok; London has
a character that's unlike anywhere else; Hanoi is an experience unlike any other;
and New York City, what can I say, there's a reason why they call it the capital
of the world."
"I'm aways on the road. How else can I discover cool things to do? For example:
the amazing and unique firefly canoe tour in outside of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia is
an example of
what makes travel priceless--you won't just run into that kind of information on
the Internet and it's the kind of unique experience that I seek during
my travels in order to share with families. My business is about travel, so it's what I live for."
Edward is a former board member for Big Brother Big Sisters of America and former
president of Entrepreneurs' Organization.
